General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Tuesday, August 22, [Monday’s new GH episode is preempted for ABC’s Eclipse Show] tease that Scott (Kin Shriner) will grow increasingly concerned about Julian’s (William deVry) chances in court. Rudge (David Lee) is set to testify soon, so Scott will wonder just how bad this is going to be. He’ll grill Julian in hopes of preparing for the problems ahead. Unfortunately, Scott is fighting a battle that he just can’t win.
Meanwhile, Ned (Wally Kurth) will be happy to see Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn). He’ll suggest that she’s just the woman he was looking for. Perhaps Ned needs Alexis’ advice on an agreement he’s hoping to make with Michael (Chad Duell). Alexis might offer some legal guidance as Ned preps for the deal. Regardless, Ned’s plans could eventually lead to some clashing at ELQ.
Across town, Liz (Rebecca Herbst) will ask Franco (Roger Howarth) about an interesting painting in his studio. She’ll admire the piece and wonder if he intends to sell it along with the others. Franco will insist that this one’s not for sale. He’ll intrigue Liz when he admits that he wants to keep it.
Franco has been fuming over his darker artwork, but this painting will have a far more joyful theme. Maybe it was inspired by his relationship with Liz or some other form of happiness in his life. Elsewhere, Curtis (Donnell Turner) will get a bit suspicious. When Stella (Vernee Watson) drops some strange hints, Curtis will assume that she’s cooked up a scheme.
General Hospital spoilers say Curtis will confront Stella about what she’s up to. Stella has a blind date planned for him and it’s sure to be a big surprise. Valerie (Brytni Sarpy) will be just as taken aback when she finds out who her mystery man is.
Curtis’ other ex will be busy with important policework. Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) will try to get to the bottom of Jason’s (Billy Miller) behavior in Tuesday’s GH episode. General Hospital spoilers say Jordan will feel like Jason is covering for someone. She’ll demand to know why he would want to protect the person who shot Sonny (Maurice Benard).
While Jason tries to wiggle out of this jam, Sam (Kelly Monaco) will have a chat with Andre (Anthony Montgomery). His guidance will make her realize she needs to come clean. Sam can’t live with this great burden anymore. Carly (Laura Wright) will ask what’s going on when she senses the tension between Sam and Sonny. The truth will shock her when Sam makes a full confession on Wednesday.
In the meantime, Anna (Finola Hughes) will get some stunning news. The diamond will indeed point toward Hayden (Rebecca Budig), so she’ll need Finn’s (Michael Easton) help later this week.
