General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will soon find himself facing a temptation he might not be able to withstand as Alex Devane (Finola Hughes) steps up her efforts to get the Chimera Project secret out of Valentin. This Chimera mystery has tentacles that tie to many in Port Charles including these two, Jason Morgan (Billy Miller), and Jake Webber (Hudson West).
General Hospital spoilers make it clear now this is not Anna Devane in Port Charles, but her twin Alex. Anna is frail and sick while Alex is strong and healthy. Anna knows everyone in town while Alex didn’t even recognize Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) that Anna knows very well. Plus, Anna missed a cancer treatment and it seems Alex didn’t know anything about the cancer and called for a treatment after Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) warned her.
It’s not clear if Anna is a party to Alex’s deception or if Anna is a prisoner and Alex is running the show. GH spoilers say that what is clear is that Alex is willing to go to any lengths to shake the secret of the Chimera Project out of Valentin. Alex is trying everything. She faked a sprained ankle to get Valentin to linger to help her and she made big teary eyes at him to try and convince him their night of passion meant a lot to her.
The last time Alex got Valentin to Anna’s house and plied him with champagne, she was in a sexy dress and very flirty – things that Anna would never do with Valentin. Alex kept tempting him to stay and Valentin looked like he was out of breath and frustrated when he finally made it out of Anna’s house. Clearly, the temptation aspect is working well and Alex just needs to step up her efforts.
General Hospital spoilers tease that one person that could foul up Alex’s plans is Nina Clay Cassadine (Michelle Stafford). Nina is keeping a close eye on Valentin and soon confronts him about sneaking around behind her back to see “Anna.” Valentin knows he’s being played by “Anna” but he can’t help but be intrigued and tempted. When Valentin pushes back on “Anna” because of Nina’s anger, Alex will have to go extreme with her efforts.
GH spoilers tease Alex will go for the full seduction route and offer Valentin another night in her bed. The last time, Valentin was deformed and sad and smitten. This time he’s handsome and seems confident, but inside, he’s still the same tormented Valentin from the WSB Academy. Alex won’t mind bedding him if she has to. After all, she slept with him as a hunchback, so she’s down for anything.
Valentin told Alex that other parties besides the DVX wanted the Chimera Project and it seems he sold it to the highest bidder. Given Jake’s knowledge of the chimera animal, General Hospital spoilers indicate that Valentin sold it to Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) who used it to tinker with Jake and possibly also Jason.
