General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, August 2, tease that Jason (Billy Miller) will receive good news. Griffin (Matt Cohen) will see some positive signs in Sam (Kelly Monaco) as she starts the recovery process. He’ll warn that Sam isn’t out of the woods yet, but it looks like she’ll at least regain consciousness.
Jason will assure Sam that he’s going to stay right by her side. He’ll just hope that he can get Sam back to her old self eventually. Meanwhile, Sonny (Maurice Benard) will continue to fight his way out of the pit. Unfortunately, his loved ones still have no clue where he is or what kind of shape he’s in.
Michael (Chad Duell) will grow increasingly concerned about Sonny’s predicament. He’ll share his fears with Nelle (Chloe Lanier) in Wednesday’s GH episode. Michael will note that the longer it takes to find Sonny, the worse his chances get. He’ll worry that Sonny could be dead by the time someone locates him, but Nelle might urge her beau to stay positive. It’s really all they can do.
Nelle will also analyze a gift on Wednesday. Will this be a new, tangible present or is this about Josslyn’s (Eden McCoy) invitation into their recent prayer circle? Carly (Laura Wright) didn’t kick Nelle out, so she may wonder if that’s progress. Still, Nelle will need to watch her back in the coming weeks.
Elsewhere, Oscar (Garren Stitt) will get updates on everything Josslyn’s dealing with. He’ll hate that Sonny has run into trouble. Oscar will promise that he’s there for Joss if she needs anything. He’ll manage to put a smile on Josslyn’s face during this crisis.
Back at GH, General Hospital spoilers say Finn (Michael Easton) will seek Griffin’s advice. He’ll plan on doing some engagement ring shopping, but he’ll have doubts about his ability to choose the perfect one. Griffin will probably suggest that Hayden (Rebecca Budig) won’t care as long as Finn puts some thought into it.
Finn will insist that he doesn’t want to screw this up. He’s focused on doing everything right, but everything is going so very wrong for Hayden at the moment. General Hospital spoilers say Jared will put more pressure on Hayden at the hospital. He’ll sarcastically ask if she can fix his broken heart.
Hayden will try to get rid of her ex, but Jared may want to meet Finn. That would crank his blackmail plot up a notch. GH fans can tell that the walls are closing in for Hayden. Jared is demanding the money Hayden promised, but she doesn’t have that kind of cash.
Hayden will hope to find a way out of this mess, but her dreams are quickly sinking. We’ll keep you posted as other details emerge.
