General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Steve Burton is set to return to Port Charles very soon, and although most fans are ecstatic about his impending comeback, others are quite happy with Billy Miller. General Hospital star Billy Miller was recast for the role of Jason Morgan in 2014, nearly two years after Steve Burton vacated the role. Everyone who watched the ABC soap opera knew Miller had huge shoes to fill, especially after Burton played the key role for over 20 years. Viewers have been a bit confused as Jason Morgan was going about his life and not really paying attention to his soulmate Sam; she has been acting erratically and paranoid.
Some fans feel Miller’s Jason or “Jake Doe” just isn’t like the Jason we have all grown to love, while others find Miller’s Jason is more like the younger Jason, played by Burton, who was more Quartermaine than Morgan. Now that Sam is hospitalized and gravely ill with toxoplasmosis, Jason hasn’t left her side and is determined to be there for her and their two children, Danny and Scout.
General Hospital spoilers reveal that although Jason has left the mob and no longer is Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) enforcer; he still jumps at every beck and call Sonny or Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) make. Will he ever be able to commit fully to his life with Sam and the kids, or is he slowly reverting to his old self where he did everything in his power to help the Corinthos organization?
Billy Miller has brought a softer side to Jason Morgan and has incredible chemistry with Kelly Monaco (Sam) on and off screen but its clear that some prefer Steve Burton as the stone cold killer he became after his brother, AJ Quartermaine (then-Billy Warlock) nearly killed him in a drunk driving incident.
