General Hospital (GH) spoilers updates for the week of July 17 – July 21 tease that several Port Charles residents will have to make big decisions. For starters, Nina (Michelle Stafford) will face a choice about her future. Is she willing to forgive Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) or move on without him?
Nina has been going back and forth with this lately. She can’t ignore Valentin’s shady behavior, but her feelings for her him may be too strong to push past. General Hospital spoilers hint that Nathan (Ryan Paevey) won’t be pleased by Nina’s actions. He’ll give her a stern lecture, so it sounds like she’s leaning toward a reunion.
Speaking of reunions, Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny’s (Maurice Bernard) reconnection is going pretty well. Sonny plans to get out of the mob, but some issues will emerge. Carly will worry that Sonny is going to land in harm’s way, but he’ll urge his love to remain calm.
Jason (Billy Miller) will back Sonny up as his efforts continue. When Jason sinks deeper into Sonny’s danger pit, Sam (Kelly Monaco) will lash out. She’ll eventually pretend she’s accepted Jason’s latest move, but she’ll soon seek Julian’s (William deVry) help again. It’s clear that Sam will stop at nothing to rid the world of Sonny and the threat he poses.
General Hospital spoilers say Julian will also need some assistance. He’ll reach out to Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) with a desperate plea. Julian will ask if Alexis might be willing to testify on his behalf. It’s a decision that Alexis won’t take lightly.
Elsewhere, Laura (Genie Francis) will be at the end of her rope. Spencer (Nicholas Bechtel) has been quite a handful since he returned to Port Charles. Things are only going to get worse from here. Spencer’s grudge could drive Valentin to take drastic action. Laura will open up to Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) about her concerns and they’ll try to strategize.
Other GH spoilers reveal that Dr. Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will work on her new plan. She wants revenge on Finn (Michael Easton) and targeting Hayden (Rebecca Budig) is how she intends to achieve it. Dr. O will turn to someone for help this week. Her request could set something shocking in motion.
Across town, Josslyn (Eden McCoy) will battle some guilt. Is this about how she’s treating her parents or could it be tied to trouble for Oscar (Garren Stitt)?
