There’s a new report that says Jennifer Garner allegedly confronted Lindsay Shookus about her romance with Jen’s soon-to-be ex-husband, Ben Affleck. Apparently, Jennifer told Lindsay to stay out of Ben’s life.
According to People Magazine, Jennifer found out Ben and Lindsay started their relationship three years ago and when Ben was still married to Jen. Lindsay was also married to her ex, Kevin Miller. The couple split in 2015.
Jen confronted Lindsay during a work trip to New York City before she announced her split from Ben Affleck in 2015. Unfortunately, the conversation didn’t go as Jennifer expected. In fact, Lindsay refused to back down on her end.
One source close to the situation told the site, “Lindsay refused to back down or quit the affair,” adding, “Jennifer and Lindsay do not have any relationship.”
To make matters worse, Ben has recently gone public with Lindsay. The two were spotted enjoying a weekend in Las Vegas together, making it no secret that they are indeed a couple. But for Jennifer Garner, there’s no doubt that this has to hurt. Not only was Ben allegedly unfaithful to her during their marriage, but also he’s now flaunting his romance with his mistress in front of cameras and for the entire world to see.
Of course, at this point there’s nothing that Jennifer Garner can do about Ben Affleck and Lindsay Shookus’ romance. It’ll only be a matter of time before Ben officially becomes Jennifer’s ex-husband. She can’t expect to meddle in his business or think that she can control his love life forever.
Then again, the only two people who know what the real truth is are Ben Affleck and Lindsay Shookus. Even if Ben did start his affair with Lindsay while he was still married to Jennifer, it’s doubtful that he will make any comments about it in public. The only thing he’s doing right now is enjoying his new life as a free man.
At this point, no one even knows how serious he is about Lindsay or if he’s planning a future with her. With that being said, it’s safe to say that Jennifer Garner and Lindsay Shookus won’t be seen or photographed in the same room anytime soon.
