Kate Middleton Goes Back To Country Girl Roots In New Photos

Kate Middleton doesn’t seem to mind getting a little dirty. The Duchess of Cambridge broke the internet with the latest photos of her feeding a lamb. She even swapped out her $214,400 wardrobe for a casual outfit she’s worn before. Kate Middleton made a special visit to Farms for City Children in Gloucester, England on Wednesday, May 3.

She shocked everyone when she appeared comfortable around the farm animals. Kate Middleton revealed that she and Prince William have some livestock of their own. She was even willing to get her hands dirty and get to work doing whatever what was required on the farm. In some of the other photos, Kate Middleton is seen talking to the children, as she spent the day with children’s author Michael Morpurgo and his wife Clare, who founded the charity back in 1976.

Some of the photos featuring Kate Middleton feeding a lamb and getting cozy with a pig circulated on social media. What was more shocking is her candid interview, in which she spoke out about her love for animals, reports People Magazine.

Kate Middleton and Prince William have five chickens at their home. They already have a pet dog, Lupo and a pet hamster, Marvin. Kate doesn’t let the help clean up after the coop. She’s willing to clean the chickens herself, according to Dave Evansoneya.

“She says she had cleaned out a few chicken sheds in her time!” he told reporters after Kate Middleton’s visit. “The incubator is relatively new and she doesn’t know if it is going to work. She says it takes 21 days but George and Charlotte are so excited that they come down each morning and peer inside to see if anything has happened!”

Kate is also not grossed out by anything. She’s willing to touch a pig’s butt if it’s necessary. She’s also not grossed out by worms. Upon seeing a worm, Kate Middleton played it with and said, “Wow, he’s super wiggly!” She then asked, “Have you all held a worm before?” She sure seemed thrilled with the idea of playing with a worm. Kate Middleton probably doesn’t get to do that much happen since she’s become the Duchess.

Kate Middleton and Prince William are huge lovers of baby lambs. And it showed when the photos of Kate Middleton feeding a baby lamb named “Stinky” circulated on the internet. Time called the photo “the break the internet needs today.”[/caption]

She was dressed down for her occasion. The Duchess wore a Troy London jacket with a pair of $50 Zara moto-inspired jeans that she’s worn before, reports the Daily Mail. Kate also gushed that she secretly wanted to be a farmer all her life. While being a Duchess has its kicks, Kate Middleton makes farming look so easy and oh-so-chic.

Kate Middleton has been looking more casual than ever lately. She was spotted wearing sporty attire when she promoted London Marathon’s partnership with Head’s Up. Kate is still sticking to her lavish style whenever she hits the red carpet. She also loves to wear her favorite designer Alexander McQueen, but only when the time is right.
