Kate Middleton is feeling miserable now that she’s back in London again. Insiders say that the Duchess of Cambridge resents her new life as a working royal in London when all she wants to do is sit at home and be a full-time mother to her two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. In fact, many critics are blasting Kate for simply wanting to be a rich mom of leisure.
Prince William and Kate Middleton’s move to London hasn’t been a smooth one. They hate the fact that they are leaving their quiet life in Norfolk behind. Plus, Kate is paranoid about her family’s safety. Both she and William are hate that their family is going to be in the spotlight more often in London.
Kate simply doesn’t want to work more than she has to. Princess Diana’s former butler, Paul Burrell, dished on Kate’s new struggles in London. He told Closer Magazine, “This will be the biggest change this young family has had to face so far. There will be times when Kate has to perform a royal duty when in her heart she would want to take the kids to school or be at a school play, watching her children.”
Does this mean that there is tension between Kate Middleton and Queen Elizabeth? Is she being forced to step up her workload against her will? Many believe that might be the case. Then again, many royal observers aren’t surprised that Kate is feeling miserable these days. After all, she’s long been called the laziest member of the royal family in the British monarchy’s history.
She’s used her children as an excuse to cancel her royal engagements in the past. But now that she’s living in Kensington Palace, she won’t be able to do that anymore. Queen Elizabeth is keeping a close eye on her now. Kate needs to put in her work as a member of the British royal family whether she likes it or not.
Yet, Kate Middleton doesn’t see it this way. She wants the world the know that her top priority are Prince George and Princess Charlotte. That’s why she’s been so reluctant to leave them in the past to go to work.
