Kim Kardashian’s Reported Net Worth Since Life-changing Paris Robbery

Kim Kardashian's Reported Net Worth Since Life-changing Paris Robbery

Kim Kardashian has turned over a new leaf since her robbery. The reality star has taken a break from the public eye. She’s not as much in our faces as she used to be. She even took a break from social media after she was robbed and held at gunpoint in Paris. Kim Kardashian’s career changed overnight. Though she’s still prominent on social media and on reality TV, her reported net worth is expected to change as well, reports The Sun.

Kim Kardashian may have lost jewels, but she’s not losing money. Last year, she was “badly shaken up” after five men dressed in police gear tried to tie her up and held her at gunpoint at her Parisian apartment. They took off with most of her belongings, including her huge diamond engagement ring. Kim Kardashian broke down when she recalled the terrifying incident on an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

Last year, Forbes reported that Kim Kardashian was No. 42 on their Celebrity 100 list. The business publication estimates that the reality star is worth $51 million. Forbes suggests that she earned 40 percent from her Kim Kardashian: Hollywood app which launched in June 2014. It was downloaded 45 million times and generated $160 million in revenue. The app has become one of Kim Kardashian’s main sources of income.

Her other sources of income include celebrity appearances, endorsements, deals, and her reality show. She also earns upwards of $30 million just for showing up at KUWTK events. But, Kim has been scaling back on the events and appearances. She doesn’t show off her lavish lifestyle on social media anymore. She doesn’t even wear as many revealing outfits as she used to. She told Ellen DeGeneres that she turned a new page in her life and that money doesn’t mean much to her anymore.

Kim Kardashian swears she changed. But, has she really? She supposedly wants to work behind the scenes. She’s been appearing less and less on episodes of KUWTK. Her younger step sister, Kylie Jenner, has been going front and center with her new show, Life Of Kylie. Kim has other plans. She announced her new show, Glam Masters, on rival Lifetime.

The show will give aspiring makeup artists the chance to work in the entertainment industry. They will also be promised “an opportunity to be part of Kim Kardashian West’s glam empire.” According to the Glam Masters application on the Lifetime website, the winner will be named the “Beauty Director for Kardashian apps.”

Production is starting this summer. No premiere date has been announced. Glam Masters will feature beauty bloggers and aspiring makeup artists who compete in front of a panel of judges. Kim Kardashian will not appear on the series. Instead, she will work as an executive producer with creator Diana Madison. It’s likely that she will receive a hefty paycheck for “working” on the series.
