Lala and Carmelo Anthony have been spotted together again. The strained couple tried to hide from the cameras as they spent time in New York City for the sake of their son Kian. It was reported back in April that the couple have split after six years of marriage. This comes after Carmelo was claimed to have gotten another woman pregnant.
The two kept a low profiling during their sighting, as seen on the Daily Mail. Lala wore a navy anorak over a navy lace up bodysuit and high-waisted jeans. She accessorized her all-blue look with a gray floppy hat and black peep-toe sandals. Meanwhile, Carmelo wore a chambray shirt with khaki pants. He kept it casual with a black baseball cap and black sneakers.
The two tried to hide their faces from the paparazzi, but it was too late. Carmelo and his son were matching in their chambray shirts and khaki pants. Lala Anthony clearly enjoyed her day, judging by her latest Instagram post. She shared a selfie and included a large emoji heart in the caption.
While the couple’s split was amicable, reports surfaced that the athlete had an affair with a woman from Northwestern University who claims to be six and a half months pregnant with his child. According to Page Six, the 24-year-old works for a nonprofit organization and does not work as a stripper.
Lala and Carmelo Anthony got engaged in 2004. However, the couple didn’t get married until 2010. Mia Angel Burks started communicating with the basketball star last year. She was secretly seeing him in Chicago, an inside source said. It’s unclear when the two started having an affair and when she got pregnant. But that won’t stop her from believing that the baby is his and will confirm it with a paternity test.
The two were going to deal with the baby drama quietly. But sources say that one of Mia’s so-called friends leaked the news to a celebrity blog. She wanted to come out and set the record straight after reports emerged that Carmelo got another woman pregnant. It turns out that friend was Anthony Jacobs who spoke to WGCI-FM. He said that Carmelo and Mia fell in love at a nightclub in Chicago.
Mia claims that she never intended to ruin Carmelo’s marriage to Lala. However, it looks like it’s too late too late now. This couple is done.
