Lamar Odom sat down for an interview with Wendy Williams and he is opening up about Khloe’s admission that she lied about trying to get pregnant with his baby.
As fans of the former couple know, Khloe spent many months on their now cancelled reality show, “Khloe and Lamar”, as well as countless interviews claiming she wanted nothing more than to have a baby with her husband at the time.
Of course, that turned out to be nothing more than a lie, as Khloe has admitted that she hadn’t really tried to get pregnant with Lamar’s baby. Of her deception, Khloe said, “I fake tried. I was married but I knew the circumstances weren’t the healthiest, so I just kept pretending I was doing it.”
Even though Lamar concedes that he wasn’t in a good place at the time and it definitely wasn’t in his or Khloe’s best interest to have a baby, he admitted that he was hurt that she made the admission on camera, instead of telling him.
Lamar told the talk show host, “She probably was right in saying that, but she could have told me, she didn’t have to say it on television.” Although Lamar has a point, he should have realized long ago that everything the Kardashians do is aired on television for attention and ratings.
The former NBA star also stated that he would never want to reconcile with Khloe, though he was sure to add that he means, “no offense to her”, before adding, “That would be the best for both of us–to keep our distance.” The fact that Lamar has no desire to ever reconnect with Khloe is probably a huge relief for the former basketball player’s family. Both Lamar’s father and his daughter have blasted Khloe in the past, with Lamar’s daughter calling Khloe and Lamar’s relationship “toxic”. In fact, Lamar has cut ties with all of the Kardashians, even Khloe’s brother, Rob, who at one point was extremely close with Lamar.
Lamar elected to end the interview on a positive note, however, with Lamar describing Khloe as a “beautiful person, inside and out”. When asked about her current relationship with Cleveland Cavalier’s basketball player, Tristan Thompson, Lamar simply wished her luck in their relationship, before adding, “They seem happy together. Good for them.”
