Meghan Markle has been left disappointed once again after Prince Harry failed to propose to her during their African getaway. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been dating for over a year now yet the royal is yet to propose to the Suits actress.
According to reports, Harry and Meghan have spent the last week in Botswana celebrating the actress’ 36th birthday. The couple was even spotted arriving in Botswana with Harry putting his arms around Meghan. Many media outlets even report that the couple enjoyed a romantic safari together. And while the opportunity seemed more than perfect for Harry to propose to Meghan, he didn’t do it.

Many royal critics believe that there’s very little chance that Harry will propose to Meghan at all this year. He might not be in a rush after all. Plus, his brother Prince William made Kate Middleton wait almost a decade before the two got married. Sure, Harry is head-over-heels in love with Meghan, but he wants to make sure he’s making the right decision.
And for Meghan, she needs to understand that once she’s a member of the British royal family, her life will never be the same again. As Prince Harry’s wife, she’ll be expected to fulfill her royal duties and obligations. Meghan will also have to leave her television career and whatever Hollywood aspirations she may have behind.
If that weren’t enough, Prince Harry wants to make sure that he’ll be able to make Meghan happy. He knows what his own parents Prince Charles and Princess Diana went through in their marriage. He certainly doesn’t want to repeat their same mistakes.
So far Prince Harry himself has not made any comments about marriage plans or his future with Meghan Markle for that matter. In the meantime, he’s making his fans, along with Meghan, wait until the timing is right.
Unfortunately there are some critics that believe if Harry waits too long, then he might miss his chance at making Meghan his wife altogether. She might not be willing to wait a decade for an engagement ring the same way Kate Middleton did with Prince William.
