Queen Elizabeth Forces Kate Middleton And Prince William To Cancel Valentine’s Day Plans, No Room For Royal Romance?

It looks like Kate Middleton might end up having a very lonely Valentine’s Day this year. There’s a new report that says the Duchess of Cambridge is being forced to cancel her romantic plans with her husband Prince William because she has to go to work instead.

Reports say that the Duchess will be visiting a RAF base in Cambridgeshire on Valentine’s Day. Kate will be visiting with air cadets from the Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire Wing Air Training Corps. She’ll even have a chance to fly a flight simulator during her visit. It’s unclear if Kate’s husband Prince William will be joining her for the visit.

Kensington Palace released a statement that said, “The week acts as an initial ‘camp experience’ for cadets who are in their first six months of membership. Her Royal Highness will join the cadets as they view a Tutor aircraft, and participate in a personal development training session.”

With Kate in Cambridgeshire, there’s a good chance that she won’t be able to spend Valentine’s Day in London with Prince William and their two kids, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. Surely, Kate would want to spend Valentine’s Day with her nearest and dearest. Instead, Queen Elizabeth is expecting her to show up to work whether she likes it or not.

Then again, William and Kate have been working non-stop for several weeks now. This is mostly because they put in the least amount of work in 2016 compared to the rest of the royal family. Kate Middleton only put in 68 days of work for the entire day, while other royal family members like Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles put in double the work that she did. Queen Elizabeth is making it clear that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have no choice but to step it up with their royal engagements. They’ve spent enough time hiding in public and behind closed doors.

William and Kate at this point have no choice to put in more effort into their charities and royal engagements, whether they like it or not. Sure, they would love to spend Valentine’s Day at home, but clearly that’s not going to happen.
