Are The Bachelor Nick Viall and his Season 21 winner Vanessa Grimaldi faking it? Bachelor Nation fans are calling them out for their ‘sham’ engagement and popular opinion is that Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi’s impending wedding is never going to happen.
A lot of Bachelor Nation fans couldn’t help but point out that Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi both looked rather awkward with each other during their first public appearance on the ‘After the Final Rose’ special on Monday night. Their bizarre behavior prompted a lot of fans to question their true feelings for one another, and whether or not their supposed engagement was real.
Nick was even forced to defend himself along with his bride-to-be after fans pointed out that they still have a long way to go before walking down the aisle. According to People Magazine, he said, “I hope we came across as in love and passionate tonight. The reality is — we joke about it, but it’s true — we don’t know what it’s like to go to the movies together, we don’t know what it’s like to spend time together in the real world. Our relationship has been based off of stressful situations.”
Now that Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi are officially together, everyone wants to know what they plan on doing next. After all, Vanessa loves her job as a special education teacher and doesn’t see herself quitting anytime soon. Plus, she has her entire family and network of friends in Montreal. For Nick though, he’s made it pretty clear that he wants to continue working in Los Angeles and appearing on television. So far he’s managed to land a spot on ‘Dancing With The Stars’ but once that’s done, he’s back to square one again.
With his ‘Bachelor’ days over, he needs to find another way to keep his name in the headlines in order to extend his fifteen minutes of fame. Will the couple tie the knot on television? Is Vanessa planning on getting pregnant soon?
