The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that big things are brewing on the CBS soap. Bradley Bell, B&B’s head writer and executive producer, has some great material in the works. In an upcoming interview with TV Guide, Bell talks about which characters he’s planning to focus on in the months ahead.
Thorne will obviously get a huge story since Ingo Rademacher is coming in as a recast. However, there’s some disappointing news to pass along. It turns out Bell isn’t interested in replacing Rome Flynn as Zende or Pierson Fode as Thomas – at least not right now.
It can be tough to find the perfect fit immediately after certain actors depart, so maybe Bell wants to wait. Fortunately, viewers could see some fan favorites down the road. Bell may be bringing back some characters we know and love. The casting process is underway, so that tells us that they’re looking at recast options instead of working out return deals.
In light of everything that’s happening with Liam (Scott Clifton) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), there’s one return that’s logical to consider. Could Hope get back in the mix? Liam cares about Sally (Courtney Hope), but she may not be able to truly compete with the love he feels for Steffy.
That’s especially true since Bill (Don Diamont) is about to make his move. Liam can’t stand it if someone else wants the same woman. The quickest way to make him fight is provide a little competition. Liam may lose his way for a bit, but his devotion to Steffy could pull them back together eventually.
What happens when they get through all their Bill and Sally obstacles? The Bold and the Beautiful will need something else to cause drama. Steffy and Liam can only reunite so many times before B&B has to shake it up. Since Bell could be bringing back some characters from the past, will Hope be one of them?
Kim Matula doesn’t seem interested in reprising the role, so perhaps it’s time for a new face as Hope. B&B fans would likely accept a recast now that Hope’s been out of the picture for a while. It’d be easy to get used to someone else playing the part.
Sally and Bill may cause some hiccups, but Hope’s return could completely shatter Steffy and Liam’s bond. Would Liam choose Hope over Steffy? The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers hint that an old rivalry could be reignited!
