The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that a handsome young man is headed to the CBS soap, but will he be a new character or a recast? The signs point to Rome Flynn possibly being replaced as Zende. According to Jamey Giddens of Daytime Confidential, B&B is looking for a 22 to 24-year-old black male.
The lucky guy who scores the part will become a new leading man on The Bold and the Beautiful. Most fans seem satisfied with Flynn’s portrayal. His acting ability is just fine, so it’s doubtful that the show would get rid of him voluntarily. It appears it would be Flynn’s choice to leave if this is indeed a Zende recast.
Zende and Nicole (Reign Edwards) have had some struggles since they tied the knot. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers hint that those struggles could get worse in the coming months. As Zende and Maya (Karla Mosley) grow closer, Nicole may get the wrong idea about their bond. This is sure to create some conflict with Rick (Jacob Young) as well.
In other words, it looks like Zende will play a crucial part in some upcoming storylines. If Flynn is leaving and B&B has chosen to recast the role, it’s a smart move. They wouldn’t want Zende to drop off the map right now. Of course, it’s also possible that the show wants to add another love interest to the mix.
Since Nicole doesn’t have a lot of options, maybe B&B wants to give Zende some competition. In a recent issue of Soap Opera Digest, Felisha Cooper talked about how she’d like to make a comeback as Sasha. She could always end up with Zende if Nicole chooses the new hunk.
If not, Sasha could get the newbie and Nicole could stand by her man – at least until they inevitably swapped partners. Musical love interests is a popular game on The Bold and the Beautiful! Whatever the case, some big changes are brewing.
