The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that the backlash will continue for Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Quinn (Rena Sofer). They’re both paying a steep price for their betrayal. Quinn adores Eric (John McCook), but he doesn’t care about her apologies and excuses. Eric will announce that he wants a divorce on this week’s new B&B episodes (July 31-Aug 4), so Quinn is sure to be distraught.
Of course, Ridge has already faced his difficult blow. Eric disowned Ridge and it’s left a hole in his heart. Ridge never thought things would come to this, but now he just has to deal with it. There’s nothing he can do to change Eric’s mind.
Once Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) hears the latest developments, she’ll offer support and maybe even some tough love. Steffy may suggest that Ridge will just have to find a way to move on. However, she’ll have some concerns about who he might move on with. Steffy will fear that Ridge could make matters worse by cozying up to Quinn again.
B&B spoilers say Ridge will defend Quinn’s role in what happened between them. He’ll insist that he’s the one who pushed her into it. Ridge will wish that Eric would forgive Quinn and repair their marriage. The divorce news will leave him worried about his former kissing partner.
Steffy will wonder why Ridge cares so much. She’ll hope this is just his guilt talking, but she won’t be certain of that. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Ridge will justify his attitude toward Quinn. He’ll note that they formed a genuine friendship, but that’s all. Ridge will contend that their kisses were simply stupid mistakes.
Steffy might warn Ridge about the danger of pursuing anything more. She might feel like Eric will cool off once he’s had some time to process everything. Steering clear of Quinn is in Ridge’s best interest. He could seal his fate if he starts up a real romance.
Ridge may state that he has no intention of locking lips or doing anything else with Quinn. He might argue that he wouldn’t do that to Eric after everything that’s played out. Unfortunately, Ridge isn’t great at keeping promises. How many times did Ridge and Quinn agree to stop their forbidden make-out sessions? They couldn’t quit until it was too late.
Now that Eric has turned against them, they’re both going to be in a lot of pain. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers hint that they could be drawn to each other.
