The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) has a crisis coming up in the new year. She just wants to enjoy the present and plan for the future, but her past will rear its ugly head again. Chelsea will find herself scrambling to fix old mistakes. She just won’t be able to escape the consequences of her shady history.
There are a couple ways Y&R could run with this storyline. The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) will resurface at some point. He could alert Chelsea to more trouble or even cause some of it. Whenever Jordan reaches out to Chelsea, it usually means bad news.
The things Chelsea did as a con artist could continue to follow her, so that may lead to major hostility. Nick (Joshua Morrow) obviously doesn’t like it when con-related incidents come up. They got into a huge fight the last time Chelsea’s past came back to haunt her. Nick seems to think he’s the only one who’s allowed to have problems!
Of course, there’s another option here and it could cause an even worse confrontation. Y&R fans know that Chelsea’s in the loop on Christian’s (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) true paternity. Nick has no idea he’s raising Adam’s (Justin Hartley) son. Chelsea’s keeping this secret with Victor (Eric Braeden), so there are bound to be additional issues. Victor has dialed down the blackmail, but for how long?
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chelsea will do her best to stay ahead of a threat. She’ll have her work cut out for her if Victor’s the one she’s trying to outsmart. Even Jordan or other old enemies could be tough to handle. Chelsea can run from her past, but she can’t hide. She’ll get sneaky to cover her blunders, but all her drama should catch up with her sooner or later.
