The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that secrets could come between Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). It’s clear that these two are keeping a few shockers from each other. Their relationship will become increasingly complicated as they try to hide the truth.
First of all, Chelsea is keeping Christian’s (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) paternity under wraps. Adam (Justin Hartley) is actually the boy’s father. Victor (Eric Braeden) talked Chelsea into hiding this fact from Nick since it would break his heart.
Of course, there are benefits to keeping this from Christian as well. Victor and Chelsea feel like it would be best for Christian to believe his father is still alive. Since Nick is going to raise Christian either way, they’re just hoping to sweep the paternity drama under the rug.
This secret can’t stay buried forever, but there are more pressing matters on Chelsea’s mind. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chelsea will be determined to track down Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson). She has no idea that Victor and Chloe teamed up to frame Adam for murder.
Chelsea also doesn’t realize Victor helped Chloe escape. Nick, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) have all made a pact to hide that news. Now that Victor has given Chloe money to disappear, he may have made things worse for himself.
Victor will work hard to win back the trust of his family members, but there’s always going to be the potential for a setback. His latest deal with Chloe could come back to haunt him. The Newmans need to see that Victor is willing to change.
However, Y&R spoilers hint that Chelsea might be Victor’s worst threat. When she inevitably discovers what he did, she could really go off! Will Chelsea turn to the dark side? It might be fun if Chelsea went after Victor. She could tie him up, threaten to shoot him, etc. There are plenty of possibilities.
Nick’s dishonesty could also cost him his relationship with Chelsea. It’ll be somewhat hypocritical if Chelsea dumps Nick over a secret. In addition to her own paternity deception, Chelsea is hiding an unsavoury past connection with Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood). That could cause some serious issues.
Bottom line, Nick and Chelsea are headed for disaster. It looks like Victor will face more backlash, too. Big trouble is brewing on The Young and the Restless.
