The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that six members of the Newman family are facing personal crises. Whether each dilemma can be solved is a question.
Abby (Melissa Ordway) is being held against her will by Zack (Ryan Ashton). Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) was just slashed on the arm by Dina (Marla Adams). Vickie (Amelia Heinle) and Victor (Eric Braeden) had a public relations nightmare dropped into their daytime realities. And, Nick (Joshua Morrow), the prime arson suspect in The Underground fire, will learn that Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) isn’t the woman he thought she was.
Zack was exposed by Crystal (Morgan Obenreder). He hasn’t been heading a dating app business, but instead has been using the incubator money Abby gave him to front his sex trafficking ring.
Crystal’s naive mic drop moment, where she vilified Newman Enterprises for funding Design Date, threw a fastball at the heads of Vickie and Victor. They’ll need Neil’s (Kristoff St. John) expertise immediately to stave off a public relations disaster for their global conglomerate.
The public outing at the Top of the Tower resulted in Zack taking Abby with him. She didn’t recognize it immediately, or else Abby would have balked, but she was being taken hostage.
Meanwhile, Dina and Nikki were getting into it with each other again. However, this time more than verbal punches were thrown.
Dina doesn’t like Nikki one bit. She hates that Victor’s wife has been playing kissy-kissy with Jack (Peter Bergman). As fans recently learned, Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) was the photog who was paid by Graham (Max Shippee) to take the clandestine photos of Nack in the woods. The obtained images which were then forwarded to Victor as though they were from Dina. Yes, that last sentence was soapy.
Nikki told Madame Mergeron that she was a nasty old woman. Suddenly the silverware stealer pulled out a knife and slashed Nikki’s right arm. Dina quickly exited the building, while Mrs. Newman began screaming for help.
The aforementioned Jordan recently had his past exposed by a vengeful ex-girlfriend. Yes, Hilary (Mishael Morgan). Mr. Wilde’s dilemma extends to Chelsea, as she was a fellow scammer back in the day when they knew each other.
Hilary’s call for her GC Buzz audience to come forward with any information they have about Jordan will also result in Chelsea’s messy backstory being revealed. Nick won’t like what he learns about the woman who he and two of his children are living with. Chick’s future is in peril as a result.
