The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, January 5, tease that Devon (Bryton James) will awaken in the hospital, but he won’t remember the crash or the events right before it. He won’t even be able to recall the gala, much less Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) deception. That’s good news for Hilary, but Lily (Christel Khalil) isn’t going to be happy.
Hilary and Lily will argue about how much Devon should know. Stitch (Sean Carrigan) will point out that it’s best to keep Devon calm. He doesn’t need any startling revelations to throw off his recovery. Devon will also apologize to Hilary for making her worry. That’s sure to cause some guilt.
Meanwhile, Gloria (Judith Chapman) will plan on going back to work for Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). When she fills in Kevin (Greg Rikaart) and Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson), they’ll be stunned. Kevin will note that Chloe works at Chelsea’s studio now. Gloria will think that’s odd since Chloe tried to kill Adam (Justin Hartley).
Y&R spoilers say Chloe will suggest that things have changed. She’ll mention that Sharon (Sharon Case) has taken the position, but Gloria won’t view that as a problem. She’ll think she can be Sharon’s supervisor. Kevin will encourage Gloria to take some time for herself and travel instead. She’ll explain that she’s broke and could really use a job.
At Chelsea’s studio, Nick (Joshua Morrow) will stop by to see if they’re still pals. They’ll discuss the kiss and Chelsea will promise that they’re cool. As they hug, Sharon (Sharon Case) will appear. When Nick asks Sharon about Dylan (Steve Burton), she’ll get defensive. Sharon will make it clear that her marriage is solid.
Chloe will arrive later with updates on the Gloria situation. Sharon will grow concerned about being replaced, but Chelsea will insist she’s not going anywhere. Talk will turn to Sharon’s relationship and she’ll reiterate that everything is just fine.
At The Underground, Nick and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will share some warm moments. She’ll get him to open up about his bond with Chelsea. Phyllis and Nick will rehash their own history as well. Elsewhere, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Gloria will stir up trouble. She’ll ask Lauren for a job at Fenmore’s, but she won’t be given one.
After Lauren leaves the room, Gloria will decide to snoop on her computer. She’ll be shocked by what she finds. The Young and the Restless fans can expect some major drama once Gloria knows Lauren’s secret.
