The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, May 17, tease that Dina (Marla Adams) and Devon (Bryton James) will head over to the TV studio for an interview. It looks like Mariah (Camryn Grimes) is holding down the fort while Hilary (Mishael Morgan) is out of town. The show must go on, so Mariah is taking the lead.
Wednesday’s Y&R preview video features Mariah saying, “Dina Mergeron, a renowned figure in the international business community, is here to make a stunning announcement.” Dina will maintain a stoic expression as she prepares for this declaration. She’s a no-nonsense kind of gal.
Meanwhile, Jack (Peter Bergman) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) will watch the interview at home. They’ll await Dina’s big news, but they can probably guess what it is. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Devon and Neil (Kristoff St. John) will lock down their deal on Wednesday. They recently signed the paperwork, so all that’s left to do is go public.
However, Dina could make a more personal announcement down the road. The Young and the Restless fans know that Ashley isn’t a true Abbott. Only a handful of Genoa City residents are in the loop and Ashley would desperately like to keep it that way. If Ash continues to shut her mother out, Dina could be pushed too far.
Will Dina eventually tell the whole town that John (Jerry Douglas) wasn’t Ashley’s father? We’ll have to wait and see, but there are definitely some shockers in store over the next few weeks. Stay tuned to see if Ashley’s long-held secret will finally be exposed.
In Hollywood, Hilary’s jaw will drop when she spots a celeb she admires. Julie Chen will make a guest appearance and Hilary will totally freak. The Young and the Restless sneak peek shows Hilary exclaiming, “One of my journalism heroes! I have to meet her!” Is hosting Big Brother journalism?
Hilary will manage to secure an interview with Julie, so she should be thrilled. She’s living out all her California dreams on this trip. Elsewhere, Cane (Daniel Goddard) will get a bit sneaky. He’ll do something that could set Billy (Jason Thompson) up for disaster.
It sounds like major trouble is brewing on the CBS soap. Billy will land in hot water pretty soon. We’ll give you updates as other details emerge.
