The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) mystery illness could summon Dr. Simon Neville (Michael E Night) for an experimental treatment. Victoria has been feeling off for quite a while, but after several trips to her doctor and multiple tests, they cannot find out what’s ailing her.
The Young and the Restless fans know that over the past few weeks, Victoria has gotten in screaming matches with several people and, according to next week’s (Week of August 28), Y&R spoilers she will get into it with Phyllis next week. After the spat with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), Victoria lands a toe curling smooch on Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) lips.
Afterwards, Billy got a hunch that something was off about Victoria’s behavior. The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that Billy may call Dr. Neville to help his ex-wife, especially after he helped cure his sister’s condition a few years ago.
The Young and the Restless fans should remember Dr. Neville was the doctor who treated Ashley’s brain tumor. He also was hired to treat Hilary Hamilton (Mishael Morgan) after she fell off a cliff on her honeymoon after a face-off with Neil (Kristoff St. John). Both women recovered completely, and his top-secret treatment was a success.
It’s not a huge leap for Billy to assume that Dr. Neville could find out what’s wrong with his ex. So far, Victoria has seen two doctors, and neither can find anything wrong with her. They blamed stress and suggested she may be working too many hours.
The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Victoria brushes off Billy’s concerns about her health, stating that her doctor has examined her and cannot find anything wrong with her. Billy doesn’t agree with her doctor’s assessment and requests for her to allow his sister’s neurologist to, at the very least, examine her.
Dr. Neville has been off the show for almost two years. He was chased off after Dylan McAvoy (Steve Burton), and Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) suspected him of paying off a lab technician to falsify information to get a drug FDA approved. When cornered, Dr. Neville drugged Dylan and made a quick getaway.
The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Simon hasn’t been seen or heard from since. However, Michael E Night is still a recurring actor, so it is possible for him to return. Mal Young, current EP, and head scribe stated he would like to bring back fan favorites and wanted to give Ashley a happy ending.
