The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, January 27, tease that Ashley (Eileen Davidson) will urge Jack (Peter Bergman) to accept defeat. He tried going after Fenmore’s with a little help from Gloria (Judith Chapman). Jack was hoping to score an investment opportunity and eventually take over the company.
Naturally, Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) caught on and now she’s even less interested in working with Jack. Ashley will think Jack needs to shred the contract and move on. She’ll believe her brother is wasting his time. Jack will insist that he has no intention of backing down. When Jack wants something, he fights for it.
Meanwhile, Lauren will greet an old flame and a new investor. The Bold and the Beautiful’s Eric Forrester (John McCook) will appear in a special crossover episode of Y&R. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Lauren will be thrilled when Eric arrives. She’ll immediately give him a warm hug.
Once they take a minute to catch up, Eric will want to know more about Lauren’s dilemma. She’ll explain her situation and ask Eric to invest in Fenmore’s. Since The Young and the Restless went to the trouble of bringing Eric in, he’ll likely agree. Jack may have a trick or two up his sleeve, but Lauren and Eric might be an unstoppable duo.
Elsewhere, Sharon (Sharon Case) will deliver some big news to Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). She’ll reveal that Dylan (Steve Burton) has returned from his mission and needs to see his mother right away. Nikki will be relieved that Dylan made it home in one piece. However, she’ll also be concerned thanks to Sharon’s serious tone.
It’s clear that Dylan is in extreme danger. Fisk’s (Scott Speiser) goons could track him down and target his whole family. That’s why he wants to get out of town ASAP. Still, Dylan can’t leave without saying goodbye to a few loved ones. Sharon, Nikki and Paul will all get special farewells.
Dylan will explain that he can’t put them at risk. He’ll hate that it’s come to this, but he really has no choice. If Dylan sticks around, anyone close to him could be hurt or killed. Dylan would never forgive himself if something happened to Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) or even the adults in his family.
Y&R spoilers indicate that Dylan will enter the witness protection program. He won’t be able to contact anyone from his past, but he’ll always carry his love for them. It sounds like some heartbreaking scenes are ahead. We’ll give you updates as other details emerge.
