The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, January 27, tease that Dylan (Steve Burton) will face some tough goodbyes. At Sharon’s (Sharon Case) place, Paul (Doug Davidson) will arrive to bid his son farewell. While Sharon is fetching Nikki (Melody Thomas), Dylan will talk to Paul about what’s in store.
Paul will admit that Dylan McAvoy is essentially dead now. Dylan has to leave his old life behind and cut off all contact. When Dylan asks about the possibility of taking Sharon with him, Paul will point out that she’d have to stop communicating with her children. Dylan will realize that he has to do this on his own.
Dylan and Paul will assure each other of their love. Next, Nikki will appear for some parting words. Dylan will fill his mom in on everything that happened and she’ll understand what’s at stake. Nikki will just wish they had been able to spend more time together. Dylan will hug his mother and they’ll both sob through the pain.
After making sure Victor (Eric Braeden) will keep Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind), Y&R spoilers say Sharon will return home. She’ll insist that she’s going to pack a few things and they can head off. Kevin (Greg Rikaart) will show up with details on Dylan’s new identity, but he’ll quickly step outside with Paul. They’ll let Sharon and Dylan have some privacy for this difficult conversation.
Dylan will inform Sharon that he has to go alone. Sharon will hate the fact that she’s never going to see him again. She’ll be thankful that Dylan stood by her after her deception came out. Sharon could always count on him. Dylan will vow to remember Sharon for the rest of his days.
After Sharon places Dylan’s wedding ring on his finger, they’ll lean in for one last kiss. As Dylan walks away, Sharon will nearly keel over. She’ll be devastated by her husband’s departure. The Young and the Restless fans will want to stay tuned for these emotional scenes.
On a happier note, Eric Forrester (John McCook) will come to town. Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) will be grateful that he was willing to fly in. Eric will promise Lauren that they can take care of Jack (Peter Bergman). A sneaky plan is in the works.
In Jack’s office, Lauren will tell him that she’s not interested in signing his contract. Jack will be stunned when Eric waltzes in and explains what he’s offering. He’ll be willing to let Lauren retain control at Fenmore’s. Lauren will suggest that she’ll be taking Eric’s deal unless Jack wants to sweeten the pot.
Jack will be forced to lower his cut of the company. He’ll drop it to 49 percent and raise the amount he’s giving her for it. Lauren will agree that those terms are acceptable. She’ll state that they have a deal once Jack changes the contract. Eric and Lauren will practically skip off to celebrate their victory.
Meanwhile, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) will rub Jack’s defeat in his face. She’ll think her brother’s ego is to blame. Is Jack’s fight really over?
