The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, December 22, tease that the tension will rev up at the Abbott mansion. Jack (Peter Bergman) will take jabs at Ashley (Eileen Davidson) all night. He’ll still be fuming over her decision to snatch away the CEO spot.
Dina (Marla Adams) will be equally furious when she learns what happened. She’ll think the family members who turned against Jack are backstabbers. Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Hilary (Mishael Morgan) will feel a bit out of place during all the Christmas chaos. They’ll eventually bail and seek a calmer atmosphere.
Later, Jack will stun Ashley with a dirty move. He’ll explain that he added an amendment a while back. The person who runs Jabot has to be a blood relative. Since John (Jerry Douglas) wasn’t Ashley’s biological father, it eliminates her as an option.
Jack will declare that Ashley is never going to take his job from him. The Abbott family hostility will be at an all-time high. Meanwhile, Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) will spend some time at Cane’s (Daniel Goddard) Christmas gathering. Jill (Jess Walton) and Esther (Kate Linder) will argue while Charlie shows Cane some love.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Charlie will pass along a blanket that Lily (Christel Khalil) supposedly sent for Sam. When Cane calls to thank Lily, she’ll note that Charlie must’ve purchased it. They’ll chuckle over their son’s deception. Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) will also admit she’s been missing Cane, but she’ll have a chance to see him soon enough.
Hilary (Mishael Morgan) will bump into Devon (Bryton James) at the athletic club. She’ll suggest that they should move Cane and Lily’s reunion along. They’ll manage to get the lonely hearts there at the same time for Christmas carols. Lily, Cane, Mattie and Charlie will happily join the crowd for those holiday tunes.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers state that Paul (Doug Davidson) will have a proposal to make. When he learns Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) has reunited with Victor (Eric Braeden), he’ll suspect there’s more to the story. Paul will contend that they could come up with a mutually beneficial arrangement.
Christine (Laralee Bell) will agree that this could work out well for Nikki. She’ll help Paul explain their deal in Friday’s Y&R episode. They’ll offer Nikki immunity if she spies on Victor and helps them take him down. Nikki will be offended by the proposition, but Paul will believe this is her shot at cutting ties permanently.
However, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nikki and Victor’s alliance will grow stronger instead. It won’t be long until they’re a real couple again.
