The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) could be headed for heartache and fans will not be pleased when it comes out that Gloria Abbott Bardwell (Judith Chapman) tampered with Bella’s (Cali May Kinder) paternity tests, making it look like Kevin is the sweet little girl’s biological father.
Y&R fans should not be entirely shocked by this revelation since Gloria has proven over and over that she will do anything to ensure her son, Kevin is happy; so swapping the DNA results between Billy (Jason Thompson) and her son wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility here.
Gloria holds a deep hatred for Kevin’s love, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson), especially after she fled town and had left Kevin brokenhearted on more than one occasion. In spite of Chloe’s misdeeds, Gloria, like Kevin, fell quickly in love with her daughter, Bella, so when Chloe vanished again, giving her mother, Esther Valentine (Kate Linder) guardianship; Gloria did what she does best – alter the DNA results to make her son happy.
If there is any doubt in Young and the Restless’ viewers minds, think back to when Kevin revealed to Gloria that Chloe wrote letters to both him and Billy requiring them to perform a second DNA test, she wasn’t at all surprised. She acted so calm and even smiled when Kevin told her she would be the “interesting” grandmother to her first granddaughter.
If Kevin wasn’t so ecstatic over the revelation that he is Bella’s father, he might have noticed how odd his mother really was acting. Y&R’s Gloria may have had her heart in the right place, but we all know secrets like these always seem to come out eventually.
