The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Graham (Max Shippee) is almost ready for the next phase of his plot. We’ve been learning more about Graham’s plan and the details aren’t pretty. Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Jack (Peter Bergman) were right to assume something was off.
Graham has apparently been targeting Dina (Marla Adams) for years. He’s hoping his long-term strategy will lead to some serious satisfaction. Wednesday’s phone conversation makes it clear that Graham’s mother is in on all of this. She urges Graham to concentrate on his mission to make Dina pay.
Graham’s mom also mentions Brent Davis being a ladies’ man and Dina being a tramp. Since Graham is using his mother’s maiden name, the clues are lining up. It looks like Graham may be Brent Davis’ son, which would make him Ashley’s half-brother.
Of course, Graham doesn’t know the identity of Ashley’s biological father yet. That’s what makes this scheme so juicy. Graham has no idea that his own sibling will be affected. It probably wouldn’t make much of a difference to Graham right now, but it could certainly affect his view later.
The Young and the Restless is obviously building to a few big reveals. For starters, Graham will inevitably use Ashley’s secret against her. He may blackmail Ash or just drop the bomb publicly to hurt her. Graham might even do both. Regardless, it seems likely that Genoa City will find out Ashley isn’t a true Abbott.
That will undoubtedly set up another major revelation. Dina will be stunned when she realizes Graham isn’t a trusted friend after all. He’s a cruel enemy who’s out for revenge! The fact that Dina spilled Ashley’s secret to Graham will definitely cause family issues.
Finally, Graham’s background will come into play. If he’s indeed Brent’s son, how is Ashley going to deal with that? She hates the guy, but could that change down the road? Perhaps there’s a chance that Graham and Ashley could actually form a relationship.
Max Shippee is a fun actor and many Y&R fans would hate to see him fade out after this storyline. Maybe the show will let Graham stick around so he can explore this new chapter with Ashley. It might be nice if they could make peace and find a way to bond.
However, everything hinges on just how ruthless Graham gets! Will he sink too low to be redeemed? The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that some jaw-dropping moments are in store.
