The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Jack (Peter Bergman) could be headed for trouble. He’s been trying to tackle too many tasks lately. Ashley (Eileen Davidson) lays down the law and forces Jack to make a choice in Wednesday’s episode, but that won’t be enough to solve Jack’s problems.
The Chancellor deal is crumbling and even more disasters will strike at Jabot soon. Plus, Jack may struggle to leave Dina in someone else’s care. As she rapidly declines, Jack could fear that he’s missing out on Dina’s last lucid moments. He won’t want to lose the precious time he has left with his mother.
However, Dina’s deteriorating health will take a toll on Jack. Her eventual death could leave Jack in an incredibly dark place. All the Jabot woes won’t help Jack’s state of mind either. He’ll inevitably do some reflecting and question the choices he’s made over the years. Jack may feel like a failure in all aspects of his life.
John (Jerry Douglas) has been mentioned a lot lately, so it could be setting up an important visit. Y&R fans know that John’s spirit appears to his kids when they face hard times. Jack seems to be on the verge of a breakdown, so he could definitely use his dad’s support.
Perhaps John will show up when Jack reaches his lowest point. Things will get pretty bleak down the road. The Young and the Restless spoilers say the Abbotts will face major difficulties, but all the conflict and despair could ultimately bring them together. Let’s hope this family can become a united Genoa City force again.
As for Jack, he’ll have to do some soul-searching and figure out what’s next. Will he get a new love interest in 2018? Will Jack find a sense of purpose and determine who he’s becoming? Y&R viewers will be anxious to see what’s ahead for Jack and those closest to him.
