The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, January 11, tease that Nick (Joshua Morrow) will be feeling a bit stressed. He’s trying to juggle caring for Christian while running The Underground. Plus, Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) is having a few issues. Nick is doing everything he can to keep his family happy, but it’s starting to take a toll on him.
Christian will make Nick’s life a little messier in Wednesday’s Y&R episode. Nick will be on the phone when Christian suddenly flings a spoonful of food in his direction. The mush will land all over Nick and it’ll leave him mildly annoyed. Christian is at that food-splattering stage and Nick will just have to deal with it.
Across town, Sharon (Sharon Case) will be on a mission. She’ll storm in the police station with a demand for Paul (Doug Davidson) and Christine (Laralee Bell). Sharon will announce that she needs to speak with her husband right now. The Young and the Restless spoilers say she’ll mean business!
Christine and Paul will insist that they can’t let Sharon contact Dylan (Steve Burton). It would just be too risky. It seems Sharon has discovered Kevin’s (Greg Rikaart) sneaky communication. She’ll argue that she deserves to chat with Dylan, too. Sharon is worried about her hubby and there’s just no other way to soothe her nerves.
Unfortunately, Sharon will simply have to stay in this anxious state. Paul and Christine will maintain that this is non-negotiable. They’ll assure Sharon that they’re keeping things quiet for Dylan’s safety. He can’t be in touch with any friends or family members.
It wasn’t even a good idea to let Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) in on the secret. Dylan will be better off if he keeps a low profile. Still, Sharon will have a rough time while Dylan is away. She’ll feel isolated and deeply concerned. Her strong emotions could lead to some dangerous moves soon.
In Miami, Dylan will get this show on the road. He’s taking on the identity of Derek Young and the new name will come with a new look. Wednesday’s preview video shows Dylan putting on a flashy ring and a large armband. Next, he’ll comb his slicked hair and slap on a pair of sunglasses.
It’s clear that Derek’s style is edgier than vanilla Dylan’s. His assignment will even include some sexy moments with a mystery lady.
