The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers confirm that Jill Abbott Atkinson (Jess Walton) and Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers) are leaving Genoa City to trek over the world, just like Katherine Chancellor (the late Jeanne Cooper) did before she passed away while fulfilling her personal bucket list. Tristan Rogers made clear on Twitter that he and Jess were making their Y&R exit and at this time there were no plans by TPTB on having them return.
Y&R’s Jill has been one of the strongest characters on the show and is best remembered for her battles with Katherine. They fought like cats and dogs but in the end, loved each other literally until death ended their epic journey to friendship and sisterhood.
Colin Atkinson arrived in Genoa City as nothing more than a con-artist working his next mark. When he got together and married Jill, not many people put faith into them as a couple, and we were right when their first marriage didn’t last even a year; but somehow they proved over and over again that you can’t help who you love.
They remarried in 2014 and are still together, and when Jill shared her own bucket list with Colin, the final thing on the list was to forgive him for everything he has done to her; maybe this trip will do it for them. The Young and the Restless sources reveal that Jill and Colin leave together, reunited but Tristan Rogers tweeted “Glad you all liked the end of that storyline. There are no plans for this couple to reappear so they’ll be away for a while.”
