The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Billy (Jason Thompson) will seek the truth. Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) health issue was caused by a toxic ingredient in a Brash and Sassy product. They can’t sell any of the face masks they have ready, so they’re going to take a serious financial hit.
Of course, the scandal won’t help the situation. The company let something huge slip through the cracks. Who will want to purchase anything made by Brass & Sassy now? Billy knows they didn’t approve a toxic chemical in the formula, so he’ll try to pinpoint the source of the sabotage. He’ll eventually settle on a top suspect.
Longtime Y&R fans know that Gloria (Judith Chapman) was involved in a tainted face cream storyline years ago. Billy will use Gloria’s past against her when he brings up shocking accusations. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Gloria will be appalled when Billy suggests she could be responsible.
There’s a good chance Gloria had nothing to do with Brash and Sassy’s latest drama. After all, she hasn’t been on great terms with Jack (Peter Bergman) since he started seeing Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). Gloria may argue that she didn’t have a real motive. Jack and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) are the ones determined to cause trouble, not Gloria.
With that in mind, Billy may consider Phyllis and Jack next. However, he might want to think again. This war has gotten out of control, but using a toxic ingredient is a bit extreme. That’s probably going too far, even for enemies as ruthless as Jack and Phyllis.
Who else might want to sabotage Brash & Sassy? Cane (Daniel Goddard) has certainly proved that he’s capable of anything, but Y&R really needs to start the redemption process. Adding another transgression would just make it even tougher for viewers to like Cane again.
That brings us to Juliet (Laur Allen). She was fired for something that wasn’t her fault and the feud intensified throughout the sex harassment scandal. Now Juliet’s old position has been given to Lily (Christel Khalil), so Y&R’s keeping this battle in play.
Juliet is also growing increasingly obsessed with Cane. When Victoria lashed out at Cane recently, Juliet was quick to defend him. Perhaps she targeted Brash and Sassy in hopes of getting a little justice for them both.
If so, a showdown could be brewing. It’s easy to imagine Juliet facing off with Victoria or Billy and taking a tumble. Maybe we could see the old “tragic fall down the staircase” tactic. Already we know that Juliet’s is a high risk pregnancy as she suffers from placenta previa. Most Y&R fans don’t seem to care very much about Juliet or her kid, so a miscarriage might be the way TPTB choose to go.
