Billy was doing his best to sow discord amongst the family on tonight’s all new episode of “Animal Kingdom”.

Billy had pitched the idea to his son Deran that the family should rob a weed dispensary. There was a lot of things that could go wrong with it and still Deran had taken this idea to his family. They agreed to hear him out and everyone was supposed to meet with Deran later on however J hadn’t showed up. He had forgotten about the meeting because he was at home cleaning up blood. J had been trying to erase any evidence that Nicky had gotten injured at the house and that meaning cleaning everything. He had cleaned up where Nicky had dragged her body to the car and he had to clean out his car because Nicky had bleed all over it, so what J hadn’t been thinking of was that meeting and Billy wanted to hold that against him.

Billy has been making these little remarks to Deran about how Smurf should have put him in charge and not J. J had showed he didn’t respect his uncle enough to show up to the meeting and so Billy said they should all cut him out. All of these things were slowly getting to Deran because he long suspected that Smurf never respected him and Pope was beginning to notice. Pope warned Craig that they should keep Billy at arm’s length because he said Smurf slept with the man once and it had taken her six years to get rid of him. Pope told Craig this story because he wanted his brother to understand how much of a mooch Billy could be and why they needed to keep an eye on him at all times.

Billy was doing his best to worm his way into the inner circle and he later tried to say J was out because he missed the meeting. He said j didn’t deserve a cut if he couldn’t be there when they needed him too and so he said he’ll take J’s spot, but that’s impossible because they needed someone as small and slim as J for a reason. He’s part of the plan whether anyone liked it or not and no way was Pope going to allow Billy a part. Billy was an addict and Pope reminded Deran of that because they no one could afford for Billy’s drug addiction to dictate when they do things. There was also one other problem because Pope noticed that Deran’s old friend Colby was hanging outside of the bar and he needed to know that Deran wasn’t working a side job with Colby.

Colby was a screw-up. There was a reason none of the others have ever used him and so Pope hadn’t wanted Colby hanging around in the background while they were planning for a job. He told Deran to get rid of him and Deran later told Colby to keep a watch at the a car dealership that he was thinking about hitting. It was just the thing to make Colby believe he was being useful and at the same time it kept him out of the way. The whole thing had also served another purpose because it kept Deran busy dealing with Colby and not focused on where Pope was running off to. Pope had gotten a call from Lucy and she claimed she got a lead on who killed Baz. They were the only ones still looking into Baz’s murder and so any lead was a good one.

Pope followed Lucy to a holding area and he met the man with the information. The guy claimed that a rich white lady had killed her own son in Oceanside because her son stole from her and he also said that the woman had paid off someone in a gang to do it, so everyone realized this guy was claiming Smurf was behind the hit. Pope had suspected as much and so did Lucy. Lucy had spent a lot of time talking to Baz and Baz told her how much Smurf reminded him that he wasn’t really her son. She told everyone else one thing and told Baz another to keep him under her thumb. She had wanted Baz to remain grateful and instead he stole from her. And so Lucy fully believed the gossip confirmed it was Smurf.

Only Pope hadn’t wanted to believe such a thing. He said Smurf couldn’t have done it and that all they had was hearsay. Pope refused to take it as the truth and he didn’t bother with telling his brothers. They’ve all been doing as told. Deran had been focusing on the job and had filled in J on everything they needed to do. Meanwhile Craig had kept both Billy and Billy’s not-so-girlfriend/ girlfriend busy. He took the two to go “shopping” for a new car that would be inconspicuous and they found just the right car though not before the duo did their due diligence in working on Craig. Craig was told how he was more than just the dumb brother and that they shouldn’t hide his intelligence from everyone which could be true if it hadn’t come from them.

J had been off making his own decisions and hadn’t told anyone what happened to Nicky. He merely told them that Nicky’s father came to town ready to take her to Guam and not why her father was going to make sure they never saw each other again. But that was J! He was keeping a lot of secrets and he ultimately came a decision about whether nor he should keep Smurf alive. Smurf had been dictating to him for a while now and their latest visit hadn’t been so pleasant because J had threatened her. And so whatever decision he made, it better not have been one to upset Smurf because the ADA dropped all the charges and she was just released from prison.

THE END!
