Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Dr. Laura will return, but it’ll be the real one this time! Jaime Lyn Bauer will reprise her role as Dr. Laura Horton, so some interesting scenes are on the way. DOOL fans will recall that “Dr. Laura” was Abigail’s (Marci Miller) gatekeeper alter. “Dr. Laura” was clear about being her own person, but Abigail obviously cooked up a version of her grandmother here.
Laura has helped Abigail worked through mental issues in the past, so she’ll be back to do it again. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Abigail will be glad to have Laura’s assistance. She’ll still be feeling overwhelmed over all the alter mayhem.
Stress isn’t good for Abigail right now, so she’ll need someone to guide her through this. She may fear that her alters will come back, but Laura will reassure her. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Laura will have far better coping strategies for Abby to use. She won’t let Abigail spiral out of control like before.
Once Laura hears how Abigail’s doing, she’ll ask plenty of questions and offer useful tips. Laura will hope to merge Abigail’s personalities into one. There was a reason Abigail’s mind came up with “Gabby.” Abigail was too fragile to deal with killing Andre (Thaao Penghlis), but she subconsciously thought Gabi (Camila Banus) could handle it.
Likewise, Abigail’s mind invented “Dr. Laura” as a knowledgeable, authoritative voice. She’s always felt safe with the real Laura, so she might’ve found comfort in creating another form of her. Perhaps Laura can help Abigail find the strength of “Gabby” and the power of “Dr. Laura.” If Abigail takes on those qualities herself, she’ll never have a need for those alters.
Days spoilers say Laura won’t stick around long, but it’ll certainly be nice to see her again. DOOL viewers always look forward to her brief visits. Laura will be an important part of Abigail’s journey to sanity. Will she continue to help after Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) drama hits Salem?
