Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Lani (Sal Stowers) will find it harder to be “just friends” with Eli (Lamon Archey) than she thought. After Eli told Lani that he had feelings for her, she had a big decision to make. She was starting to feel something for Eli, too, but she made a conscious decision to shut those feelings down.
For Lani, the timing just didn’t feel right with Eli. The two just recently lost their baby, David, and it’s true that the grief brought them closer. But it really bothers Lani to think that a relationship could grow out of grief for their son. So, she decided to gently rebuff Eli when he professed his feelings for her.
Eli was naturally bummed after Lani told him she didn’t want to take their relationship any further, and he turned to his old friend Sheila (Tionne Watkins) for support. Sheila was there when Eli needed a friendly shoulder to cry on, and she offered words of comfort in her own Sheila-like way.
Sheila and Eli have a nice, comfortable rapport and seem to be good for each other as friends. But soon, Lani is going to notice that they’re spending more and more time together. Days spoilers say that she’ll start to feel jealous of Eli and Sheila’s bond. She may see them talking and laughing and wonder just what exactly is going on there.
In fact, it probably won’t be long until Lani is overflowing with jealousy. And according to Days spoilers, her feelings will be strong enough that she’ll start to reconsider a relationship with Eli. But will Lani say anything to Eli about her newfound feelings? Or will we be looking at a situation where she misconstrues the situation between Eli and Sheila and ends up deciding to stay quiet about her feelings?
