Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Eli (Lamon Archey) will face a difficult task. After his baby’s death is revealed, he’ll make the tough decision to tell Lani (Sal Stowers) himself. Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) may wonder if Eli’s sure about this. She’d be more than willing to spare Eli the pain of breaking the news.
However, Eli will feel like this is his responsibility. He assured Lani they were in this together, so he’ll think he should keep that promise. Days spoilers say Eli will summon all his courage and prepare to tell Lani what happened. She’ll be recovering from her C-section when Eli approaches with updates.
On Friday, Days of Our Lives spoilers state that Lani will experience complete devastation. She’ll truly face the worst sorrow of her life. Eli will admit that their little one didn’t pull through, but he won’t want Lani to blame herself. Eli will suggest that there was nothing Lani, Kayla or anyone else could’ve done.
Nevertheless, Lani may battle some guilt anyway. This isn’t her fault, but she might wonder if bed rest or at least slowing down more would’ve helped. Regardless, Lani will be an emotional wreck soon enough. DOOL fans should be prepared for some intense, heartbreaking moments.
On next week’s new Days of Our Lives episodes, June 25-29, Lani will really start to lose it. Days of Our Lives spoilers say she’ll have a total meltdown at the hospital. Lani will start ranting and demand to see her child. Since Lani will be in such bad shape, Eli may not think that’s the best idea. He might worry that it’ll only contribute to Lani’s downward spiral.
Of course, Lani probably won’t let it go. In the end, this could be an important part of the healing process. Lani could really use some closure, so this could play a role in that. It looks like she’ll finally have a chance to say goodbye to her deceased baby.
