Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Brady (Eric Martsolf) will have Eric (Greg Vaughan) on his mind. Thanksgiving has come and gone, but these brothers certainly didn’t reconnect. In fact, Eric no longer considers Brady his brother at all. He was furious after he found out Brady blackmailed Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and drove her out of town, but the next shocker made the situation even worse.
Nicole is presumed dead thanks to what Brady set in motion. Eric lost the love of his life, so he’s battling plenty of heartache right now. It’s been a rough few weeks, but Eric’s just trying to put one foot in front of the other. He admitted he wasn’t feeling very thankful this year, but there are at least two bright spots. Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and Holly are definitely at the top of Eric’s gratitude list.
Days spoilers say Eric will continue to lean on Sarah for support. He’ll also kick off a mission to get custody of Holly. It’ll help Eric heal if he can honor Nicole’s dying wish. Plus, this will give Eric a goal to work toward. He’ll be able to look forward to something instead of dwelling on his loss.
All of that could help Brady, who’ll decide he’d like to patch things up with Eric. It was wise of Brady to wait since this was such a deep wound. Eric will inevitably find love again, but not like before. DOOL fans know Nicole was his soul mate and that’s all there is to it.
Brady understands that, so he took a step back to let Eric mourn and process what this means for him. Likewise, Brady had to process his own grief. He didn’t treat Nicole right before she left Salem, but they were close once upon a time.
Now that everyone’s starting to let go and move on, Brady will hope it’s safe to reach out. During the week of December 3-7, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Brady will push for peace. He’ll realize it’ll take time to repair the damage, but he’ll be ready to start.
Should Eric forgive Brady for his cruel actions? Will Brady’s remorse be enough? Days of Our Lives spoilers say Nicole will return down the road, so it seems she’s not so dead after all! For now, Eric will have to determine what he’s willing to get past for the sake of family. It seems likely that Eric will soften and declare Brady his brother again eventually.
