Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Steve’s (Stephen Nichols) vision problems will get worse. He went to see a specialist, but he didn’t get the news he was hoping for. Steve’s latest doctor revealed what Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) suspected. Steve’s cornea was severely damaged, so his eyesight will continue to deteriorate. Unfortunately, Steve’s facing the possibility of total blindness.
DOOL fans can tell that Steve’s worried about what the future holds. He doesn’t want to be a burden to Kayla, but he knows he will be. Steve won’t be able to keep his job as a private investigator. He can’t solve cases without his ability to search and spy. Plus, Steve mentioned that he won’t be able to drive. All of this is becoming very real and it’s starting to overwhelm him.
Kayla offered reassurance, but she’s worried as well. She’s obviously just putting on a brave face for Steve’s sake. Nevertheless, these two could share a tender moment of honesty next week, March 12-16. Days of Our Lives spoilers say they’ll come together during a time of crisis. Kayla and Steve will have some emotional scenes where they address his worsening condition.
Perhaps Steve will wake up and realize he can’t see much of anything. He may not be totally blind at that point, but he’ll sense that he’s getting there. Steve’s sure to be a mess and Kayla won’t be in great shape either. However, at least they have each other. Days spoilers state that they’ll tackle this ordeal together, so that’s good news for the glum couple.
Luckily, Kayla isn’t the only one in Steve’s corner. He’s got other friends and family members he can count on, too. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Adrienne (Judi Evans) will pop up next week. It’s been quite a while since DOOL viewers have seen her, so this will be a welcome comeback.
Steve will certainly appreciate his sister’s support. He’ll fill her in on how he’s feeling and get some love in return.
