Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Eli (Lamon Archey) and Lani (Sal Stowers) will grow even closer. There was certainly some attraction between them when they hooked up on Christmas Eve. That grew into a strong friendship as they prepared to be parents together. However, the loss of their son really took things to the next level. They’re connecting like never before.
Eli will be just fine with that in the coming weeks. He’ll be open to the idea of a romance, so he’ll try to nudge Lani toward one. Unfortunately, Lani will quickly pump the brakes. Guilt will be the main reason for her reluctance. She’ll think she’s somehow disrespecting baby David’s memory. Lani won’t like the idea of a love story blooming out of this tragedy, so she’ll choose to pull back.
Of course, it’d be better for Lani to shift her perspective. She needs to be happy that something good could come from something so horrible. Nevertheless, Lani will keep Eli at a distance and focus on a future without him. It could take some work if Eli hopes to break any barriers.
In the meantime, we’ll see a surprising DOOL comeback. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Eli will be taken aback by a familiar face. Sheila (Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins) will return to town, so you can bet she’ll bring plenty of drama with her. She’ll have a couple of crucial reasons for showing back up in Salem.
It sounds like Sheila will make a few waves for Eli, but he won’t be the only one she pesters. Days spoilers state that Abe (James Reynolds) will get involved in this storyline. When he meets Sheila, he’ll instantly know that she’s trouble. Abe and Sheila will clash right off the bat, so Days of Our Lives viewers can expect some great confrontations.
Eli’s predicament will likely lead to close moments with Lani. If he runs into problems, Lani won’t be able to resist helping. Will this reignite their spark and convince Lani to let go of her pain? Will she realize she doesn’t need to hold herself back from happiness?
