Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that there are new hints about a potential comeback. This ties in with the upcoming murder in Salem, so it’s important to have all the latest info. Anna (Leann Hunley) recently had a shocking request for Steve (Stephen Nichols). She pushed him to help her track down Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) so she could get justice for Tony (Thaao Penghlis).
Of course, Steve wasn’t really interested. He’ll be battling poisoning symptoms in the months ahead anyway. Steve couldn’t even read the pub menu, so he’s in no condition to track down the infamous Stefano DiMera. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Steve will be busy trying to survive!
Plus, Mascolo has passed away now. If Days decided to recast the part of Stefano, it would probably go down as one of the worst decisions in DOOL history. Don’t mess with that legend! Nevertheless, the show’s flashbacks are a reminder that Stefano’s still out there somewhere. That could be a crucial part of a looming storyline.

Let’s remember that Anna is completely obsessed with Tony. She even carries Tony’s urn around so he can join her for lunch and other daily activities. However, we have to consider the possibility that Tony isn’t in that urn at all!
Now you may be wondering how that could be true. Tony was impaled on screen and died thanks to the complications, but that doesn’t matter much. Andre (Thaao Penghlis) unplugged his own life support, but he’s certainly living and breathing today. Days could easily cook up an excuse to explain Tony’s return from the dead.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Andre is the murder victim, that means Penghlis will switch parts down the road. Anna could easily discover that her great love is actually still alive. That may be the very reason they brought her back.
It could take Anna a while to solve this mystery, but it’d be nice to see Tony and Anna together again. Whether Tony faked his death or was held against his will, it would create some interesting drama. Perhaps Stefano was behind the whole thing. That may be why he’s been mentioned lately.
