General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nelle (Chloe Lanier) will patiently play her game. She’s anxious to get Michael (Chad Duell) on her side, but he’s stuck in an impossible situation. Michael undoubtedly finds it tough to believe Carly (Laura Wright) pushed Nelle down a flight of stairs. He knows his mom loathes Nelle, but he surely can’t imagine Carly trying to harm his child.
Nelle can’t be too pushy here and blow her progress. She’ll just keep playing up the victim angle and hope the “facts” get Michael on board. At the moment, there’s nothing to contradict Nelle’s version of events. Her plan could’ve cost her the baby, but Kim (Tamara Braun) had good news to report. Everything worked out in Nelle’s favor, so she probably thinks all this was worth it.
General Hospital spoilers say Nelle’s lucky streak will continue. Jason (Steve Burton) is the only one giving Carly his full support right now. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) also seems suspicious of Nelle’s claims, but he can’t be sure Carly’s telling the truth. As Carly grows frustrated, she’ll lash out and make things worse for herself. That obviously won’t make her look like the most stable person around town.
On next week’s new episodes, May 21-15, Diane (Carolyn Henessy) will grow concerned about Carly’s chances in court. She’s an excellent lawyer, but she can’t sell Carly’s blanket story if no one saw evidence. Diane will push Carly to take a plea deal and spend some time in a mental institution. General Hospital spoilers say that’s exactly where Carly’s headed, so her suffering will intensify down the road.
As for Nelle, she’ll be over the moon. Carly will soon be locked up and far away from her impending bundle of joy. Plus, it looks like Michael will slowly come around on supporting Nelle. She’ll get the backup she desires on May 24, so Michael may suggest that he believes her. If Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) telling him that Carly’s unraveling, Michael could buy that she’d take her hatred that far.
Nelle’s getting everything she wants for now, but you’d better believe this bubble will burst. A GH schemer like Nelle doesn’t get to live happily ever after. Nelle had already made a fierce enemy out of Carly, but this is taking it to the next level. Once Carly inevitably scores her freedom, she’ll be coming for Nelle in a big way. Meanwhile Jason will be on the case so don’t be surprised if he discovers that Ava (Maura West) took the blanket.
Carly’s revenge is sure to be epic, but what could she have in mind? Will Carly hire people to keep looking into Zackary Grant’s death? She might even manufacture proof against her foe. Getting Nelle thrown in prison for murder would bring loads of satisfaction for Carly.
