General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that big things are brewing on the ABC soap. Ever since Ryan’s (Jon Lindstrom) return was revealed, GH fans have been wondering who he might kill. If the show’s going to bring a character as evil as Ryan back, they must have some bloodshed. There’s just no way around it. Ryan has to remain a truly vile villain, so we need to see at least one major death.
Now that Hayley Erin’s exiting as Kiki, she makes sense as a murder victim. There have been plenty of onscreen clues lately as well – like Kiki’s sudden shift toward happiness and Ava’s instant bond with “Kevin.” General Hospital seems to be laying all the groundwork for Kiki’s devastating demise.
It’s probably a smart move since Kiki’s death would have serious emotional impact without creating a gaping hole in the cast. Kiki’s “Me Too” movement story has wrapped up and her secret with Griffin (Matt Cohen) is out. There aren’t too many loose ends to tie up. Kiki’s a likable character, but GH can just shift to other people and stories once she’s gone.
At the same time, Kiki has loads of loved ones who care about her. Her demise would rock many Port Charles residents to the core. That means the aftermath would bring some great drama. There would undoubtedly be some crushing funeral scenes. Could we see a familiar face back in town for that? Will Dillon (Robert Palmer Watkins) show up to pay his respects and grieve for his ex?
There’s a new blind item out that could back up the idea. According to Soap Opera Digest, one soap is seeking out a former hunk. They want a certain hottie back in the fold, so the timing would be right for Dillon. Maybe Dillon could even stick around for some Quartermaine family drama once the memorial service wraps up.
Regardless, it’d be a shame for Dillon to skip saying goodbye to Kiki. He really loved her once upon a time and despite how he treated her, perhaps part of him always will.
