General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that threats will come at Brad (Parry Shen) from every angle. He’ll definitely have a hard time keeping the baby switch under wraps, but he’ll try to hang in there. The future of the “Brucas” family depends on it! Brad won’t want Lucas (Ryan Carnes) to end up devastated, so he’ll be incredibly motivated to keep this quiet.
There are some issues that Brad already fears – like the birth mom demanding her child back. That’d be a real problem since her biological son died and was swapped with Michael’s (Chad Duell) baby. However, another threat could catch Brad completely off guard.
Brad and Nelle (Chloe Lanier) aren’t the only ones who know Jonah was born healthy. GH fans will recall that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) helped Nelle deliver the kid and took off. Nelle kept Brad out of the loop on that tidbit, so he could be blindsided soon enough.
Dr. O is certainly a crafty character, so she always finds a way to rise above her challenges. Unfortunately, that usually means inflicting pain on other Port Charles’ residents. Since Liesl’s on the run, she may need help at some point. Where will she turn if she suddenly becomes desperate for assistance? Brad has conspired with Liesl on more than one occasion, so he might be a good option.
There’s even a chance that Liesl will be apprehended and rely on Brad for another escape. If she hears that Nelle’s baby was supposedly stillborn, she’ll know something’s fishy. Liesl’s an evil genius when she needs to be, so she could undoubtedly solve this baby swap mystery.
Up until Nelle pushed him into switching kids, Brad was trying to stay on the right path. Now he’s resumed that mission for “Wiley’s” sake. The last thing Brad wants to do is create unnecessary risks and get caught. Nevertheless, Brad may have to do Obrecht’s dirty work eventually. She could blackmail him into doing whatever she pleases.
Liesl might need money, supplies or another getaway plan. Once Brad takes care of her initial demands, that may not be the end of it. Has Liesl really given up on destroying Peter (Wes Ramsey)? Brad might be forced to take action against him, which could raise suspicions and pull other characters into this hot General Hospital plot.
