General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nelle (Chloe Lanier) could be crazier than anyone thought. Of course, GH fans know Nelle’s a schemer. That’s been apparent from the beginning of her run. However, things could be shifting for Nelle in a big way. As more details come out, Nelle’s starting to look like a total psycho!
Brad (Parry Shen) may have inadvertently highlighted the extent of Nelle’s nuttiness. During a chat at GH, Nelle and Brad discussed Carly’s (Laura Wright) baby shower meltdown. Brad suggested that he just couldn’t believe Carly pushed Nelle down the stairs. He didn’t mean he literally couldn’t believe it, but Nelle quickly jumped to the wrong conclusion.
A defensive Nelle asked if Brad thought she threw herself down the stairs. Brad suggested no one in his or her right mind would do that, which is true. The problem is Nelle isn’t in her right mind! Nelle downplayed her panicky response and hinted that she was just kidding. Hmm…should we really buy that?
General Hospital viewers immediately started buzzing on social media. Many GH watchers are now convinced that Nelle took that tumble on purpose. Honestly, we wouldn’t put it past her. Nelle seems to view this baby as a pawn in her plan to get Michael (Chad Duell). She didn’t really show genuine concern for the kid throughout all this. Nelle put on a show for Michael, but that was it.
Perhaps Nelle thought she’d win either way. Whether the baby died or not, Nelle could still get Carly locked up and gain Michael’s sympathy in the process. She put her own life in danger, but maybe that was a risk that crazy Nelle was willing to take.
Surprising details are always coming out about this chick. Nelle was accused of murdering her ex-fiancé, Zackary Grant, in a kayaking incident. She claimed she couldn’t swim well enough to save him, but she turned out to be an expert swimmer. We also learned Nelle spent time in a mental institution, so she’s clearly capable anything.
Since Nelle’s apparently got sporty past, she might’ve felt confident about surviving the fall. As for the baby, Nelle could’ve been willing to let the chips fall where they may. The important thing was getting Carly out of the picture.
Nelle told Ava (Maura West) that her baby shower would be an event to remember, but a penguin mobile surely wouldn’t have been all that memorable. It appears Nelle may have planned that fall all along. If so, that makes us wonder when and how Michael will find out. Will Ava pry an admission out of Nelle? That might give Michael a chance to overhear and blow his top. Nelle could’ve killed his child!
Then again, there’s no guarantee this is even Michael’s kid. Paternity manipulation happens all the time, so there may be even more secrets left to reveal. Whatever the case, General Hospital spoilers say Nelle’s setting herself up for major trouble. She’s also proving that she’s a real psychopath, so what does that mean about her future with the show? Is Nelle’s time on GH running out?
