General Hospital spoilers note that on the March 9 episode Nina Reeves Cassadine (Michelle Stafford) had an appointment with Dr. Kim Nero (Tamara Braun), an OB/GYN at General Hospital to see if there was any chance that she could conceive. Maybe all of the Maxie (Kirsten Storms) pregnancy stuff going on has stirred Nina’s longing for her own child again.
General Hospital viewers know that Nina was in a coma for 20 years thanks to her mother Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills). Nina was pregnant with Dr. Silas Clay’s (Michael Easton) baby when she was put into the coma by her greedy mother and was told she miscarried the child. Nina has since been trying desperately to make it possible to conceive but to no avail.
When Nina first came to Port Charles she went to an OB/GYN, Dr. Britta Wesbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), who was also her cousin. All Nina wanted was to be able to get back what she had lost, a precious baby of her own. Britta told her that she was in menopause and that odds were not good that she would be able to conceive a child. Nina’s heart was broken and still is, she longs for her own child. Nina continued to see doctors but still the same diagnosis.
General Hospital spoilers suggest that when Nina moves her sister-in-law Maxie into her home at Wyndemere, so that she can keep a closer eye on Maxie and the baby, she starts having maternal dreams.
Having Maxie under the same roof will bring Nina some comfort but also trigger other unexplainable feelings of Dejavu of giving birth – which would contradict what “Mommy Dearest” Madeline told her about having miscarried while in a coma. Could it just be having a pregnant Maxie in the house causing these “dreams” for Nina or did she really give birth and is starting to remember?
The dreams and feelings will reoccur to the point that Nina will be convinced she did give birth and will start questioning her mother’s tale of her miscarriage. Why should Nina believe Madeline – her mother never wanted what was best for her and she is the reason Nina lost half of her life!
General Hospital buzz has suggested that Nina’s child is alive and well living in Port Charles – and was raised by her biggest nemesis Ava Jerome (Maura West)!
Many GH fans already express on social media that Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) is Nina’s long-lost daughter and there have been many clues that Ava gave birth for the first time to Avery Corinthos (Ava/Grace Scarola), contrary to what Franco (Roger Howarth) said about seeing Ava pregnant back in the day.
While pregnant with Avery Ava carried around the book “What to expect while you are expecting ” a book that explains everything you need to know for first-time mothers.
It would be a brilliant move by TBTB if they give Nina a long-awaited reunion with her child. Nina had a rocky road with Kiki for awhile but they eventually grew to like each other thanks to Franco.
This kind of revelation would rock several PC resident’s lives and be a great storyline especially considering Nina caused Ava’s early labor held her hostage, delivered the baby then kidnapped the infant.
Nina at the time felt Ava took her baby 20 years ago (blaming Ava for her coma and the death of her unborn child) and now she was kidnapping Ava’s newborn baby – but could Nina have known subconsciously all along that yes, Ava was responsible for the loss of her child and NOT to a miscarriage but to her unscrupulous deeds with Madeline?
Could Madeline Reeves have given Ava Nina’s child with Silas with the agreement that Ava never speak of this. It was proven that Madeline had given Nina the drug that put her into the coma and some would ask why – the answer was greed and hate.
Madeline Reeves was always greedy and wanted to enjoy Nina’s inheritance plus she hated Silas with a passion and did not want that baby around to remind her of baby daddy and use up Nina’s inheritance.
