General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, January 3, tease that Liz (Rebecca Herbst) will suggest hanging Franco’s (Roger Howarth) favorite painting up. At least it used to be his favorite! Now the painting serves as a grim reminder of Franco’s horrific childhood encounter with Drew (Billy Miller). Franco will insist that he won’t have it hanging in the house, so Liz will try to figure out what’s up.
Meanwhile, Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) and Laura (Genie Francis) will enjoy their newlywed status. It looks like Kevin will have a surprise regarding Laura’s career path, too. General Hospital spoilers say he’ll give her something that’s the key to her future. Kevin will feel certain that Laura’s going to be the best mayor Port Charles has ever seen, but she has to get elected first!
Elsewhere, Michael (Chad Duell) and Ned (Wally Kurth) will have a heated argument. When Michael refuses to budge on a specific deal, Ned will decide he’s had enough. He’ll quit his job at ELQ, so he’ll be free to pursue other options. With Olivia’s (Lisa LoCicero) guidance, Ned will soon decide to run for mayor as well.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will be duped for a good cause. She’ll meet Curtis (Donnell Turner), Molly (Haley Pullos) and TJ (Tequan Richmond) at Julian’s (William deVry) pub. They’ll call Alexis there for breakfast, but they’ll also have some Charles Street development matters to discuss.
Across town, Julian will make a heartfelt plea. He was a bit forceful about Leo (Pressly James Crosby) the last time he reached out. Perhaps he’ll soften his strategy and beg for some time with his son. Olivia will grill Julian about his angle, but he’ll assure her that he’s just trying to do the right thing.
At GH, Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) will ask Anna (Finola Hughes) some tough questions. She’ll want to have a chat about all the Cassandra (Jessica Tuck) chaos. Jordan will demand to know what kind of operation Anna’s been running. She’ll feel like she deserved to be in the loop, but Anna will explain that they were just trying to reduce the risks.
Anna will pop in Finn’s (Michael Easton) hospital room to see how he’s doing. Cassandra nearly gave him an overdose, but he managed to gain the upper hand. However, Finn could still have trouble headed his way. He’ll have to be careful now that he’s had another taste of what he’s been missing.
For now, Finn will focus on Anna and sharing something important. Maybe Finn will choose to clarify how he really feels about her. The thought of never seeing Anna again might’ve changed things for this duo. We’ll give you updates as other GH news comes in.
