General Hospital Spoilers: What To Expect This Valentine's Day in Port Charles - GH Co-Head Writer Offers Details

General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that Valentine’s Day 2018 will be a mixed bag in Port Charles with ups and downs as well as a few shockers! Starting off with PC’s lovely crime family couple it seems that Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Carly (Laura Wright) will finally have the peaceful Valentine’s Day that they deserve. Also, Robin puts in her two cents about the Jason and Sam drama and Ava wants to take the next step with Griffin.

General Hospital Co-head writer Shelly Altman explains to ABC Soaps in Depth, “It’s been a long year for Carly and Sonny, a year that was spent following the road back to each other. Last Valentine’s Day was very different. Nelle was a huge influence. This year, they will get to celebrate Valentine’s Day in a satisfying way.”

Meanwhile, Jason (Steve Burton) gets an unexpected visit from Robin (Kimberly McCullough). He is currently torn as to whether he should or shouldn’t follow his heart. That’s because he’s afraid that it will lead him to Sam. And apparently, Robin, just like Carly, has some opinions on the matter and Drew (Billy Miller), won’t like them!

Altman said, “She is definitely rooting for Sam and Jason to find their way back together the way she and Patrick did. However, Jason is determined to let Sam choose her own path. He sees the conflict in her and tragic and unfair though it is, he understand that she has had a whole life in five years that he did not have.” General Hospital spoilers tease that the Jason, Sam, and Drew love triangle with indeed play a big part in this year’s Valentine’s Day action.

Also, there’s Ava’s (Maura West) situation, too. She plans on marking Valentine’s Day by telling Griffin (Matt Cohen) that she loves him for the very first time. Even though she’s been worried about her daughter Kiki (Hayley Erin) stealing her boyfriend from underneath her, she is ready to take the next step in her relationship with him. Of course, it will all depend on what Griffin will have to say in return!
