The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Hope (Annika Noelle) will face some major challenges. She, Liam (Scott Clifton), and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) have come to an understanding with respect to co-parenting and everything has been working out pretty well so far. Liam and Hope are happy expectant parents, and Steffy is focusing on her work and motherhood.
But things aren’t going to be so easy for Hope going forward. She’s just beginning to learn that Liam is always going to be pulled in two separate directions, and that someone is always going to have to give. Hope knew that going into her marriage with Liam, but she may start to wonder whether she’s the one who will always have to give.
Her recent pregnancy scare is a good case in point. Hope was all alone when she started experiencing excruciating pain and spotting, and that’s because Steffy and Kelly (Gabriel Sporman) demanded Liam’s presence. Hope is currently putting up a good front and insisting that Liam is just being a great father by being there for Kelly.
But how long until Hope starts to get jealous and resentful of all the time that Liam is spending with Steffy and Kelly? Hope’s only human, and it would be natural for her to feel a bit left out when Liam is leaving her to go be with his other family. Plus, the fact will always remain that Kelly came first, and Liam is going to have all his special “firsts” with her. Hope may feel like her pregnancy and child is overshadowed a bit…or a lot.
At some point, Hope may get to the point where she’s fed up with her pregnancy and her child – and even the well-being of her pregnancy – playing second fiddle to Steffy and Kelly. At some point, she will probably get tired of the same old co-parenting routine and may start drawing lines in the sand. How long before Hope says enough is enough and demands Liam’s full attention?
Hope has a pretty easygoing personality, and it may take her a while to get to the point where she lashes out about her frustrations. But chances are, that day’s coming, especially this week when she loses out to Steffy at Forrester Creations. And once Hope’s baby is born, it will probably get more difficult for Liam to juggle the duties of fatherhood. He’ll want to be there full-time for each child, but it will be impossible. Sacrifices will have to be made, and of course neither Hope nor Steffy will want to be the one to make those sacrifices.
