General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, July 8, reveal that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will have an offer to mull over while Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) rejects Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) advice.
Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) will also accept a new client, so some exciting scenes are ahead in Port Charles.
For starters, ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) will present Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) with a tough decision.
Molly was supposed to go on her book tour, but Justine won’t think she should pass up this opportunity.
“Promote your book or prosecute the biggest case of your legal career,” Justine says in Wednesday’s GH preview video.
Since Justine was a kidnapping victim in all the Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) drama, she can’t really prosecute this case herself.
It looks like Justine will push Molly to take over, so she may skip her book tour in the end.
Next, Ric will accept Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) as a client and will learn he’d also like to explore the possibility of a civil suit against Curtis.
Meanwhile, Curtis will talk to Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) about a plea deal that’s on the table.
It turns out Curtis could reach an agreement for lesser charges, but it’d mean doing a brief stint at Pentonville.
Although Curtis won’t want to land behind bars when he’s got a new baby on the way, the alternative is letting this go to trial and risking a much longer sentence.
As for Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), she’ll bump into Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and have an awkward interaction with her.
Trina has been trying to keep her distance from her parents lately, but she won’t be able to avoid this Portia encounter and all her mom’s questions.
Next, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) will be back on-screen for a conversation with Laura Collins (Laura Collins), who’ll have a couple of important requests for him.
Across town, Sonny will have a warning for Carly after witnessing her kiss with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
It looks like Sonny may push Carly to end things with Valentin before he brings any more trouble to her life.
However, Carly will stand her ground. We’ll see Carly refuse to change her mind when it comes to her Valentin connection and her desire for revenge on Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) as well.
Finally, it seems Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will catch Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) off guard while he’s potentially sleeping off a hangover.
Lucas will confide in Liz now that he’s upset about Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) medication fake-out and the fact that Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) died for no reason.
General Hospital spoilers say Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) betrayal will continue to bother Lucas too, so he’ll lean on Elizabeth for support.
