The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Liam (Scott Clifton) could breathe a sigh of relief soon. B&B fans know Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) politely rejected Leo’s (Sam Myerson) offer. He was hoping they could go out on a date, but Steffy suggested she wasn’t ready. She’d rather concentrate on her daughter and her thriving career.
This news could certainly make its way back to Liam. If it does, Liam may think Steffy made the right call. He may be glad that Steffy’s choosing herself instead of jumping into a new relationship like he did. Of course, that perspective could cause major problems with Hope (Annika Noelle). She could read between the lines and realize that it says a lot about where Liam stands.
Hope might question Liam’s commitment to her. She could wonder if Liam secretly wants to keep his options open – and he probably does. Deep down, it’s tough to believe Liam wants Steffy to move on. Somewhere in the back of Liam’s mind, he may think a “Steam” reunion is still a possibility.
Liam doesn’t have a great track record when it comes to keeping relationships intact. It’s just a matter of time until Liam and Hope’s romance falls apart. Part of Liam may want Steffy to wait around as his backup, but he’d never admit it. He may not even be fully aware of it! However, Hope will be there to potentially pick up on the warning signs.
If Liam shows a hint of relief over Steffy’s latest decision, Hope may take it as some form of jealousy. She might feel like Liam would’ve been envious if Steffy had moved on. Naturally, that could bring out the green-eyed monster in Hope as well. The Bold and the Beautiful viewers know it always rears its ugly head eventually!
Old insecurities could come rushing to the surface and send Hope into a tizzy. It may not be long until Hope’s tracking down Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) to complain. Hope may worry about what this means for her marriage. Is Liam as devoted as he claims or will he be stuck on his ex forever? Hope will have to figure out the answer and determine if she can handle what’s ahead.
